The Hobgoblin Music shops have all now reopened for business. Most branches are open for limited days and hours while we adjust to the “new normal”, and all have safety measures in place, detailed below.
Check your local branch page for opening times:
Birmingham | Brighton | Bristol | Canterbury | Edinburgh (Scayles) | Leeds | London | Manchester | Southampton
Subscribe to our newsletter for updates about our shops as well as special offers, news, new lines and more.
It may be possible to make an appointment to visit any of our shops on days without advertised opening hours. Please contact your local branch by email to arrange an appointment.
It is extremely important to us to keep staff and customers safe, so, in keeping with regulations and advice, we are implementing a few changes.
We will be limiting customer numbers in the shop, so there may be a little bit of a wait.
We would be grateful if customers can wear a face covering (this is a requirement in Scotland, and will shortly be compulsory in England also), not shop in groups unless absolutely necessary, and sanitise their hands on arrival .
We are asking customers not to pick up instruments without checking with staff, as we need to keep track of which instruments have been played.
We have made sure all the shops are well ventilated, staff have face coverings, and we are providing hand sanitiser for customers to use on arrival. We may be able to provide you with a face covering if you are unable to bring your own.
Secondhand Purchasing: We definitely want to hear about any instruments you would like to sell – to make sure it is worth your time coming in, please email us details and photos before you travel. You don’t need to wait for the shops to reopen to do contact us by email.
Repairs: We will be taking on repairs with a 3 day quarantine period before and after the repair to avoid any contamination.
Thank you to all of our customers for your patience, your amazing support over the last few months and for your kind understanding of the restrictions we will necessarily have in place when we reopen.
